The arrangement of everything that appears in the framing – actors, lighting, décor, props, costume – is called mise-en-scène, a French term that means “placing on stage.” The frame and camerawork are also considered part of the mise-en-scène of a movie.

1. Practice each stunt carefully a couple of times at half-speed. 2. Never connect with the other person when throwing a punch, slap, or kick. 3. It is up to the person who receives the punch to "sell" the reaction. 4. Camera: always shoot behind or in front of the punch so that we can't see the distance between the actors. Zoom in to telephoto to "crush" the depth of field. Stunts are fun, but they require safety and precision. A stunt is like a dance between both actors, carefully rehearsed. Also remember that you will be able to add sound effects and speed in the editing process. This is due Friday 5/15. Send finished edit to [email protected] |
