Your next assignment is a short film in which you show a person or object taking a journey- going from one place to his/her/its destination. Along the way there should be obstacles/ conflict. This film should have no dialogue, although it may have narration. The point is to let the shots and the action tell the story.
The way to start this is to create a story. Where is your subject going and what does he/she/it want? What is standing in their way? How do they overcome the obstacle(s)? How does the story end? Once you have a good story, draw a storyboard so that you plan for each of the shots by drawing them in the order they will be presented. Ask me for storyboard sheets. Watch this storyboarding video for drawing tips.
